I planted a bunch one year and they were peeking out and then we got a bunch of snow....they were perfectly fine! Sounds like you have some exciting stuff brewing, Summer! Great bulbs! I love tulips and daffodils and hyacynth!! Spring flowers are oh so happy. Little heralds of spring when we so need it. Any way, I think I would cover the souls of the plants with a little yard debris for now but I would watch them and remove it when the ground stasrts warming up. Its okay if their little heads are up but you might lose some blooming time. Your climate is so much

You don't need to cover them. They won't die. They may bloom earlier than usual, and if it snows the blooms won't last long, but they'll be fine. My tulips have bloomed in mid-March the last couple of years, so we're not crazily ahead of schedule.

Congrats on your first bulbs! Plant more this year!
