First crush

We've been hanging out a lot lately with Henry and Milo.

They play together GREAT!

I mean...GREAT.

And it's not that Ellie doesn't like Milo or anything
....but Henry...oh Henry.

I've seen that look before.

Just remember, you're three, kid, and mommy is ALWAYS WATCHING!! (And almost ALWAYS has a camera!)

I remember the first time I ever showed public affection with a boy. Peter Ogilvie. I was in 8th grade. He had his arm around my waist at the lunch table. Mrs. Soucy came running up to us with, I swear, smoke coming out of her nose. "Oh no you DON'T" and flung his hand off my waist. 

I mean, like it wasn't awkward enough already.

Oh Ellie, I know we're not there yet. I know you are three and just think Henry is super cool. I'm okay with that. But please, pu-leeze, DON'T GROW UP TOO FAST!!

I have 10 more years until I have a teenager. I plan on milking them with over-zealous hugs, kisses in public, hand holding, waving from the front door. I'm the smitten one right now.

And really I expect to be for the rest of my life. But don't worry, I won't be sneaking into your house when you're an adult to rock you like a baby. 

(But I'll probably kind of want to. )
